Using PalUp

How do I start chatting with the default Pals?
Explore the PalUp Community, select a pal that interests you, and initiate a voice chat. If you prefer texting, simply tap on the message icon to go to the chatroom or swipe to the left and keep chatting.
How can I create my own Pal on PalUp?
Start the Process: 1. Open the PalUp app and tap on the search icon in the center of the bottom bar to explore the PalUp Community. 2. Select “Create” and tap “Continue” to choose your subscription plan. 3. After selecting a plan, tap “Complete” to customize your Pal. Customize Your Pal: 1. Appearance: Describe your Pal’s look and tap “Generate”, or upload a photo for the desired appearance. 2. Name: Give your Pal a name 3. Profession: Describe your Pal's role or profession. 4. Profile Bio: This will show on your Pal's profile page. 5. Personality: Choose from 16 different personalities. 6. Voice: Pick a Male or Female voice with 5 different tone variations. 7. Background: Add background information to give your Pal depth and character. 8. Knowledge Expansion: Upload a document (PDF format) to add frequently asked questions and answers. 9. Tap “Save” to finalize your Pal.
How do I share my custom Pal with other users?
To share your custom pal with other users, go to the “Availability” section in the customization options and choose “Public” to make your pal available to others.
Can I edit my Pal after it has been approved?
You can edit your pal after it's been approved. To make changes, simply tap on the edit icon in the chat space and adjust the details you want to update. Please be aware that editing your pal’s appearance will use credits.
What happens during the Pal review process, and how long does it take?
We review all custom pals to ensure they comply with the PalUp Rules and adheres to our guidelines for respectful and appropriate behavior. You will be notified if any adjustments are needed.
